By giving a gentle heartwarming smile, sometimes just a smile can make a difference and brighten someone’s day.

How do you give back to your community and spread our platform H.O.P.E?
I give back to the community and the H.O.P.E foundation by volunteering to raise funds and providing goods that can be sold so material can be bought to continue to build comfortable homes for people in need.

I would choose a children’s home because children are the future of this world and need to be protected and looked after

How do you give back to your community and spread our platform H.O.P.E?
Whenever I go to visit my granny in Soweto there are a lot of kids that don’t have food. There are also many who don’t have toys so I play with them and share mine. Me and my mom also give them groceries and seeing the smiles on their faces make me happy. I also attend events to support cancer awareness.

My favorite color is pink, because it reminds me of love and kindness.

Something that I love about the Cayman Islands is swimming at Stingray City in our crystal-clear waters.

What are you most grateful for?
I’m most grateful for my family and friends because they put a smile on my face and are always there when I need them most.

How do you give back to your community and spread our platform H.O.P.E?
Every year I spread H.O.P.E by donating new, gently used clothing, and non-perishable food items for people who need it most. At Christmas time I also donate presents to families who are less fortunate.

My country South Africa, what I love the most about my country is unity and we live by the quote that says “Umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu” meaning that as people we need each other and my country shows exactly that.

How do you spread Kindness?
I spread kindness by showing care and support to everyone around me and those who deserve it.

How do you give back to your community and spread our platform H.O.P.E?
By doing volunteer work and showing love and kindness to those who are vulnerable. Donating food parcels to those living in the streets as well as donating sanitary items to young girls in our community

What makes you unique?
What makes me unique is my ability to take on any challenge. My constant interactions and activities that I’m involved in. My enhancement to embrace and power myself.

How do you define Sisterhood?
I define sisterhood as being there for one another, in times of support, love and the ones who are there for you. To lend a hand when you fall, sharing laughter’s, wiping tears, and so our spiritual intake, mental and physical health can uplift one another.

What does the pageant’s platform, HOPE means to you?
H.O.P.E to me means to always lend a helping hand. To help the community better in different ways, I’ve understood this platform to an extent as I volunteered on my own to serve and give back to the elderly and made my story on the news. This shows that by just helping and giving back, one can light up someone’s face and make their day.

What is your favorite quote or saying?
My favorite saying is ‘Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will’-life is for living and you have to put yourself out there and sometimes deal with immense amount of pressure. I believe it’s extremely important to chase your dreams and advocate for what you believe in. You have never failed if you learnt something

What makes you unique?
As a person I’m always looking to learn new things and consistently seek out new learning opportunities, no matter how hard they may be. I believe it’s so important to never stop learning. This passion to learn has led to personal and professional development. This mindset has help me stay curious, motivated and has allowed me the ability to adapt to change in a rapidly changing world.

How do you define Sisterhood?
Sisterhood fosters a sense of belonging and empowerment, thereby creating a space where women and girls can thrive collectively and individually. A sisterhood can encompass a connection no matter how deep based on shared experiences, understanding and respect. A sisterhood comprises of empathy and solidarity among women

What does the pageant’s platform, HOPE means to you?
HOPE encapsulates a powerful commitment to making a positive impact on communities, whether locally or globally. This ethos emphasizes the importance of empathy, compassion, and solidarity in addressing the challenges faced by individuals and communities across the globe. It promotes a sense of action towards building more equal opportunities and equipping societies to thrive. From being a youth volunteer since the age of 11 to now working with vulnerable adults and families, I’ve seen first-hand the obstacles society faces and therefore strongly believe in the work of HOPE platform.

What are three words that describe you/your personality?
Open-minded, vibrant, and an achiever are my personality. My upbringing, cultural background, and experiences as a young mother, and now a career and married woman, are the reason I live with big goals and the perspective that I can do anything. I feel a lot of gratitude and try to live each day fully and with joy.

What is your favorite quote or saying?
“When I stand before you at the end of my life, I hope I can say I used everything you [God]gave me” is my favorite quote. I serve in leadership roles in my work in public service and as a board member for local non-profits. I sponsor children’s school fees through the Bali Indonesia school project, am a hospitality minister with my church, and volunteer with many organizations. I do these activities because it’s important to me to use my talents to bless others and impact the world around me.

What makes you unique?
My mixed ethnicity and cultural heritage make me unique. My family comes from Kashmir, Suriname, and Iran. I consider it a superpower because I experienced a lack of understanding about cultural diversity growing up, but with my background I have been able to promote diverse communities. I recently was the emcee for the 2024 South by Southwest Conference International Welcome Breakfast with 200 attendees from all over the world

How do you define Sisterhood?
Sisterhood is supporting and elevating each other in our endeavors and goals. I am an only child, so I learned to make sisters in new ways, sister-friends & sister-queens. I founded QueensACT, which is like a sisterhood for women in Austin and Central Texas, to support each other in our pageant, public service, and personal journeys. I was also awarded the The Spirit Award by Pageantry Magazine for individuals that exemplify friendship, sportsmanship, character, and leadership within the sisterhood of pageantry.

What does the pageant’s platform, HOPE means to you?
H.O.P.E, helping out people everyone, has been a part of my life since middle school to present day and are the values I teach my children. As a child, I volunteered with my mother and I would babysit and mentor students. H.O.P.E aligns with my own personal platform, Mentoring Matters, which advocates for every child to have a mentor because I believe everyone has the opportunity to give back and help someone.

What makes you unique?
We are all unique in our very own way. To me, my uniqueness has to do with my genuine interest in people. I am a people person, who enjoys learning from others, making new friends; always showing empathy and respect. That’s what makes me unique.

How do you define Sisterhood?
I believe that sisterhood exists when women come together; united in common interests, likes, and beliefs, and where they lift each other up.

What does the pageant’s platform, HOPE means to you?
H.O.P.E means “Helping our People Everywhere”; which to me has to do with being present, supporting others every time we can, seeing challenges as opportunities to service others; being a “helping hand”, and volunteering my time and expertise to help those in need.

My favorite color is blue. Blue reminds me of the sky. I love looking into the sky. It is filled with so much mystery and wonder. Most of all it is absolutely beautiful

I love the Bahamas. My home is where I live but you vacation. Igo to school where I can hear the sound of the crashing waves nearby, the ocean is crystal clear and it’s bright and sunny outside.

How do you spread Kindness?
I spread kindness by showing love and affection to everyone around me. It creates a healthy and positive atmosphere so that people are always willing to give back.

How do you give back to your community and spread our platform H.O.P.E?
I give back by sticking with my program that is called dancing with Aminah. I wake up early to visit a charity home on the weekend so that we can dance as a morning exercise. This is a fun activity and it gives most people in the homes hope that someone still cares and that they are remembered and loved.
